My BI platform version : SAP BI 4.1 sp4.
Hi Kiran
Please try these steps to create a new APS :
1. Log in to the Central Management Console.
2. Go to the Servers area.
3. Select create new server.
4. Select Core Services for the Service Category drop down menu.
5. Select Publishing Post Processing Service for the Select Service drop
down menu.
6. Press the next button.
7. Select all services
8- Ensure you have the correct Node selected and modify the name of the new
server to your specifications as well as add a description should you need.
9. Press the Create button.
10- update Java xMx to 4 g
11. Enable the server
12. Start the server

Hi Kiran,
You can always use the following SAP Note to split APS.
IMP: Start only those servers which you require.
Hope it helps.
