Change Application and DB Server for SAP HCM System. Its like payroll system change?

Hallo,

we are planning a system copy of our SAP HCM System and we would like to change the DB Server from a DB2 to MS SQL DB and an installation of a new application server. My question is: Its similar as an payroll system change? Its for example necessary to create a new DEÜV 36 notice for a payrollsystem change?

Hi Alexander,

as you are planning a system copy, I assume you will also copy all the master data, payroll results and so on that are stored in the system. So you will have a full copy and won't do any data migration from system A to system B.

Based on this, I would say that you don't need to create new DEÜV notices or similar. Everything should work as before, there is no actual "change". At least in my opinion
