Is HANA a requirement to run Predictive either SAP PA or Kxen?

Do customers need to install HANA to use either SAP PA or any of the KXEN products?

Hi,

No HANA is not a requirement to use SAP PA. Customers can use non HANA data sources in SAP PA.

Good question.

As for SAP Predictive Analysis it can connect to a wide range of data sources. Both HANA and many others.

Hi,

It's the same for InfiniteInsight (ex-KXEN), Hana is a possible datasource but it's not mandatory. There are different pricing whether the customer wants to use II & PA on HANA or not.
