Please maintain the variants for the delete program first

Hi SDNers,

I'm trying to archive contract accounts.

I'm having this error message when creating the variant.

Here is the error message that I got. Please see below.

Does anyone have already experience this error? If yes, do you have a solution?

The delete program can only be called when you have maintained variants for the test and productive runs in the archive customizing.

Procedure

Maintain the customizing settings of the relevant archive object.

Hi Jerome,

Before running the archive job, you have to maintain proper customizing in SARA. The message you are getting is related to that.

Proceed as follows:

- Go to transacation SARA, enter the archive object name

- go to Customizing-> Archive Object specific customizing->Technical settings

- in 'Settings for Delete Program' section, Click on the 'Variant' button for TestSessVariant. click on create and keep the 'test' option CHECKED. Save your variant.

- For the Prod. Session Variant, follow the same steps, but UNCHECK the 'test' option.

This should solve your problem,

I'm trying to archive contract accounts in IS-U but it does not work yet.

Does someone has all the steps to accomplish this?

hi Team,

i am getting same message while archiving.

with ref to your above correct answer can you update on this step.

as i am unable to find create option.
