If you're using a 64-bit machine go to :

C:\WINDOWS\SysWOW64\odbcad32.exe

If you're using a 32-bit ODBC connection, go to Start > in the seach bar type odbcad32.exe.

Go ahead and create a 'System DSN' using the Oracle Home driver.

Don't use the Microsoft Driver. Use the Oracle Native driver from the list.

Hi Abhilash,

I am not able find the oracle native driver.

Scroll down in that list and you should find something like 'Oracle in OraClientxxHome_1'.

If you don't see this, it would mean that the Oracle Client has not been installed on the machine.

Hi Divya,

Is your Oracle client is 32 bit or 64 bit ?

If you are using 64 bit driver then you will not see while creating ODBC in 32 bit.

Thanks,

Hi Sastry,

PFA image above. As I posted above it is a 32 bit

If you see an 'Oracle Server' connection in CR but don't see the Oracle drivers (from Oracle) in the 32-bit ODBC Administrator, then it could be an issue with the drivers on the machine although I don't understand how this can happen.

Try reinstalling the Oracle Client (Full version) and see if that helps.

Hi Divya,

As suggested by Abhilash, you may have to re install Oracle client to get driver information.

Before re install, can you repair Oracle client through control panel and see whether you will get the driver.

It is looking for the installer file. Please get in touch with your DB Admin or someone in your organization who can point you to a shared driver that has the software.
