Can SAP Business Workflows be monitored using SAP BPM?

Hi All,

We are implementing SAP Workflows in counjuction with SAP BRF+.

As SAP BPM monitoring is better than SAP Business Workflow from Business user point of view,can we make use of SAP BPM to monitor the SAP Business Workflows?

Is it possible?If its not possible then is it possible to use SAP BPM in conjuction with SAP BRF+?

Also,is it possible that BRF+ and BRM co-exist in any project?

Searched a lot on SDN but coul not find any relvant blog/discussion.

Please help me.

Hi,

could you be a bit more precise on what kind of monitoring capabilities you are looking for? Is it more a technical or more business kind of monitoring? In general, the monitoring capabilities of SAP BPM which are available through Netweaver Administrator are bound to SAP BPM only.

If you are more interested in getting visibility into the business relevant things in your workflow, you can take a look into SAP Operational Process Intelligence. It supports both SAP BPM as well as SAP Business Workflow:

Its more from Business user point of view.this is because SAP Workflow is not having a ruch monitoring UI as that of SAP BPM.

In general, the monitoring capabilities of SAP BPM which are available through Netweaver Administrator are bound to SAP BPM only.

Means SAP Business Workflows cannot be monitored using SAP BPM UI?

Can we use SAP BPM instead of SAp Worflow to integrate with SAP BRF+?

Can SAP BRF+ rules be reused by Non SAP/Non ABAP applications?

Can SAP BRM be integrated with SAP BRF+?

nw bpm has no monitoring function you desired,

maybe you are mistaken with Business process monitoring of sol man....

nw bpm can work with brf+, it is just rfc or ws call

you can consider brf+ as rfc module, of course it can be used by other non abap application.

We are implementing SAP Workflow with SAP BRF+.Can we replace SAP Workflow with SAP BPM and use integration of SAP BPM with SAP BRFPlus?

If its possible can you please provie any blog/SAP Help doc/discussion about that?

I searched a lot but could not find any.
