Hi,
I recently took over some OpenText Document Archiving tasks and there is one thing bugging me: Wherever I add the PDF Document Type I get the following error, when double-clicking the Document Type:
When the user selects the PDF Document Type with a single click and drag'n'drops a PDF into the white rectangle, there is no error and the file gets archived properly.
I found some tips to check OAA3 and OAA4, but anything I did modify there did not alter the result, so I changed everything back to how it was.
Here are the OAA4 settings:
---> IXSCAN:
Any help or explanation is appreciated.

The above issue is on ERP
While doing a test on ERD I noticed that there the PDF Document Types was not giving the error, but the JPG Document Type did.
ERD: JPG gives Error, PDF is OK.
ERQ: JPG gives Error, PDF is OK.
ERP: JPG is OK, PDF gives Error.
I noticed that in SM30 ( /IXOS/OA_DOCTYPE ) the PDF entry for WebViewer is missing (on all systems) when compared to the OpenText installation Guide, but since the table is the same on all 3 systems but the behavior is different on the 3 systems, I assume this is not related.

Hello Good Morning

User cannot send Data from Outlook to SAP using Ixos.
There is error message. Please see attachment Ixos.jpg
User got new PC yesterday and it worked, but today not.
*See image attached about the error of the user side please.
I have checked OAA3 and OAA4 , I have seen all is OK, I think so.
however I have not seen the "security" are in the sapgui of the user, I am getting this information now.

Thanks a lot.

Hello Antonia,
Sorry! I am late in attending it. If the issue is not yet fixed you can try below:
1) Check archiving with desktoplink works good with other mime types too, If doesn't work
2) Try installating latest versions and patches of all clients
3) Try to tweaking with regedit.
4) It can be problem with VC++, check relevant versions of VC is installed as it is a new user pc
5) Clear the temp. Check any PC securities are giving any problem i.e firewall, antivirus...etc...etc
6) If nothing of them works. Please try to send IXClient.log
Let me know if the issue still persists.
Thanks,
Kolusu
