Hi,

In rsa3- ZTRXT1 field arabic word coming correctly

In PSA value is different "ÊÑÎêÕ ÓÇÌêÇÊ"

Tested extraction using Basis ID & scheduled through process chain for Background extraction check.

FYI - We have other data source where we are loading arabic words in to BW correctly.

Issue only for the above mentioned datasource.

Let me know your suggetion ...

Thank you!!

kannan

Hi Kannan,

Can you check these points again,

  1. 1. Both the system must be Unicode : BI and ECC must be Unicode and must be configured as Unicode in SM59 RFC connections.

  1. 2. If you are loading Arabic to a characteristic info object, The characteristics must be lower case enabled.

  1. 3. If you are loading master data text in Arabic ,no need to check the lowercase.

  1. 4. In RSKC , Please remove all the value instead maintain ALL_CAPITAL.

  1. 5. Language pack in SMLT Tcode may have Arabic language pack, but not mandatory.

Hi Kannan,

Have you Arabic language installed in your BW system in tcode SMLT? Also check in report RSCPINST and activate Arabic in it if it's already not activated.

You said it works fine for other datasource so I suspect that Arabic is already installed and activated in your BW system. Can you just verify?

Is your SM59 settings correct? I mean the unicode and Language is blank in SM59 RFC destination of your source system.

Thanks

Hi,

Check for any conversion routines for the field ZTXT1 .

If any, then remove the conversion routine and try .

Hi,

Lower case selection for the field  ZTEXT1 should resolve your issue .

The system is performing conversion to upper case on arabic letters (considering it as english letters )and hence it is displaying such output.

If this flag is set, upper case and lower case are distinguished when you enter values with screen masks.

Otherwise all the letters entered will be converted to upper case when you enter values with a screen mask.

Where did you change it ? At the InfoObject level ?

You need to change it in the data domain of that field in the source system not at infoobject in BI .

Hi Mohammed,

Yes we have enabled that in source system domain level!!

Not at infoobject!!

Thank you
