How to use HTTP destination in BPM to connect to Remore server UI5

Hi Experts,

We have a scenario where BPM process is one server and SAP UI5 is on other . We have created HTTP desination from BPM to UI5 server as per below SAP HELP. but at runtime the placeholder is not replacing the URL to point to remote server. We have used curly brackets as described.

The SAP Help you have mentioned deals only with Assigning Custom UIs to Human task.

Have you configured the remote destination successfully?

In the SAP Help you mentioned, it clearly says that the 'http_name' should be a configured HTTP Destination.

My guess is that this destination is already configured on the server and ready for use.

The name which you define for this destination during destination-setup, should be then used in curly braces in UI Integration.

Should be somewhat similar to step#3 in this document.

Please correct me if I am wrong. I have never tried this out. Would be great to know the resolution to this.

this feature is introduced in latest sp, are you sure your bpm server is latest?

Yes , we have latest version which supports this. Can you please elaborate also ?

It might be because its not new for 7.4 . It is already there . but still can you forward me the link where you are seeing this?

This feature (support for HTTP destinations in Custom UI) is available with 7.31 SP13 and 7.40 SP08.
