Hi All,

I have added a (new) connector, but the system is not appearing , in the list of Password reset Systems. I have tick marked PSS for this connector in

SPRO ”SAP Reference IMG” > GRC > Access Control >  Maintain Connector Settings

But this System, is not listed while doing Password reset. Please suggest.

Hi Plaban,

Have you mapped the new connector under "maintain connectors and connection types"..and "maintian connection settings"?

Did you put this new connector into the corresponding connector group.

You need to schedule the reposiroty sync job and make sure that it runs successfully. Then check for the RFC connection if it is working completely fine. Check for the authorization test for the particluar connector which is not reflecting under PSS, user ID or password might have been mapped incorrectly.

Let us know if this works out.

Auth. test is successful, and new connector is appearing in 'Create Access request', but not for PSS.

Repository sync, updates User , Roles and Profiles, which are not used in PSS. Could you throw light, on how this sync. , will help, for PSS

Hi Plaban,

Yes, repository sync job is more related to the user/roles/profiles synchronization from the backend to the GRC system but in case the account got changed in the backend then by running this job will update with the same in GRC system as well.

Are you sure that, you have confirmed/enabled the check box for this particular connector for PSS..?

and if the authorization test for this connector is successful; RFC-user ID and password are correctly mapped then there is no room that you couldn't see this connector for password reset functionality.

There is no other config required.

One more thing, do check for the user whether or not this ID exists in your new connector.

Hi Plaban,

All configurations are correctly done but users were not able to see few systems in PSS. Same issue happened with us and the reason is that communication user assigned to PSS SICF service has missing authorization

You can chk that also

Hi Plaban,

You need to ensure your system is listed out in the "Maintain Data Sources Configuration" section of SPRO, otherwise the system will not be selectable for Password Self Service.
