Goods Recepit against Stock in Transit

Dear Experts,

I have made a STO against which i have issue goods from my issuing location to the reciving location through movement 351. But when i am trying to receive goods against material document generated against 351 mov type, the system is replacing my receiving location from my issuing location and process the transaction again with movement 351. Why system is behaving like this

Hi tayyab,

Recently my client  have also encountered the same issue. Instead of using Goods Receipt against purchase order for intra company STO using movement type as 101, they used Goods receipt against Material document & movement type as 351.

You will getting error as SL unrestricted stock exceeded by.. If you check in MMBE you can see stock will be in on order stock..Only after receiving it will move to unrestricted use stock using movement type 101 in receiving plant.

Why you are doing GR with regards to the material document number ?

The correct process is to do GR with regards to PO number.

When you post GR with regards to material document number, then have you noticed which movement types is showing to be posted in 'where' tab ?
