HI All,
Recently, I have installed and configure the relay server on IIS7. Installation went smooth. I have configure the SMP to communicate with realy server. I have confugure the outbound enabler to communiacte on port 80 but now I want to change the outbound enbler to communicate using port 443 (https) I have updated the outbound enabler's property with the 443 port but outbound enablers are facing problem in running.
If anyone has configure the the outbound enabler to communicate with port 443 then please provide the guidence in this any reference link or pdf where I can check this.
Kind Regards,
Amey
Hi Amey,
What is the SMP server version? What is the issue you are facing ?
For port 443 you have to connect https port of SMP server. Your default SMP HTTPS port is 8081.

Hi Midhun,
I am using SMP 2.3.4. When I switch the outbound enabler from port 80 to port 443 my outbound enabler fail to start. I checked the log file for outbound enabler it shows - server certificate is not trusted. But I have the trusted certificate that I have added to SMP trust store and same is also available on IIS manager.
Actaully I haven't came across any document/guide which actually talks about configuration of Relay server with SMP using port 443. All I can found is that for port -80,
I have refere this video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tNC6W8PC9JA#t=1064
but it also talks about configuration with port 80.
Kind Regards,
Amey
Hi Midhun,
After trying all the possible options, I have raise the OSS massage and in response I came to know that it was a bug in the current release (SMP 2.3.4.281). which was later fix in SMP 2.3 SP04 (with latest patch - 2.3.4.335)
with the latest patch i simply map the outbound enabler with certificate and it started working for me.
Kind Regards,
Amey
