Is that possible to activate TREX "fuzzy" search in CRM WebUI Central Search / Simple Search? If yes, how?

My question was maybe not really clear: fuzzy search does work in the advanced search screen. What we would like to do now is to make it work in the Central Search / Simple search. In other words, we would like the simple search to be in fuzzy mode by default.
