Hi, i've built a windows application using VS2010 and Crystal Reports. However, when i copy the built files, to a new computer the crystal report does not work. I know that i can download and install the MSI file from . However, isn't it just possible to copy certain DLL files to the same folder where my application is? In that case which DLL files would i copy?
Thanks
Aron
Unfortunately, you cannot copy the CR runtime dlls. The CR.NET component relies on COM Interop for the back end report processing engine, so XCopy deployments won't work.
Deploy the runtime using the MSI, MSM or ClickOnce.

Hi Aron,
For more info on how to use the CR runtimes (MSM, MSI, Clickonce) see the deployment section of CR for VS .NET SDk Developer guide.
