Can sap receive multiple edi 945s for the same delivery?

We have a trading partner that is an outside warehouse.  We send them a 940 indicating what to ship from a single SAP delivery.  The trading partner then ships to the end customer from multiple locations and it creates 2 deliveries in their system. When they send back the 945, they are sending two.  The first one updates the delivery with the quantities and dates.  The second one isn't hitting our system.

If we could bring in a secondary 945 for a delivery, can we update the pick and delivered quantity?

As long as the delivery is not post goods issued, then you can make the changes with pick and delivery quantity.

The delivery is not goods issued.  I'm wondering if a second 945 could be programmed as a change document and amend the delivery quantity and pick quantity.

For example, the delivery is for 10 EA.

The first 945 comes in with a quantity of 6.  The delivery is updated with a pick quantity of 6.

The 2nd 945 comes in with a quantity of 4. Will the pick quantity be overwritten and changed to 4 or can we program it to amend the pick quantity and add 4 to the 6 from the first 945?
