Error "Post the HUs for goods receipt so that they can be transfer "

Hi Friends,

I am trying to do transfer posting from Non HU Managed SLOC to HU Managed SLOC,

Steps

1)MB1B transfer posting , movement type 311

2) inbound delivery created.

3) Go to VL32n and click on automatic packing button .

4) Hu's created but when i try to do the PGR i am getting the error ""Post the HUs for goods receipt so that they can be transfer "

Message no. HUFUNCTIONS254.

I have informed the user to pack the HU's first in HU02 and then use those HU's in VL32n instead of Automatic packing. but user is telling that before version upgrade it was working fine but now its not.

Can you please suggest if you have ever come across this situation.

Hi Gopi,

Check that the posting_change field on the delivery is "C". If not
this is caused by wrong customising setting.

Table T156Q cannot be overwritten by a standard note, so please
check the settings in the Customizing and change manually.

Customizing (Transaction SPRO): Handling Unit Management => Basics =>
Materials Management => Inventory Management =>Set QM Check and Delivery
Type for Each Movement Type

Check all the entries for movement type 411/412 in the delivery
category field and change to TP if they are not already changed.

Put a breakpoints as shown below and run the program in debug mode and try to find out what is missing at line 16 which is prompting system to show the error message HUFUNCTIONS254
