Rec'd "Unbalanced transaction [message 131-191] "when posting JE between ledgers with difference currency

Hi,

I have received an error message of "unbalanced transaction [message 131-191]" when I am posting a Journal Entry between:

• an AUD business partner
• an USD general ledger

As shown in the picture, the amount does balance balance in FC and LC section.

So I am wondering is it because there is a rule in SAP that does not allow us to post journal entries between ledgers with different currencies?

If someone could help will be much appreciated.

Hi,

You may try to check the setting below:

Administration > Systems Initialization > Document Setting > Per document tab > select "journal entry" > uncheck the necessary box.

Just remember to revert back the setting if this is not happen frequently.

Yes system will block entries with different currency.
