problem in workflow while approving the workitem.

Hi Experts,

I am very new to workflow.

While creating PR the workflow is triggering to user SAP mailbox but when he try to execute it, no action is happening.

Still the workitem present in his SAP mailbox with "In Processing' status only.

Actually it should take him to the PR release transaction.

I checked in all forums but I couldn't find out the exact one.

Was this custom workflow working before? Has something changed recently? Does this happen every time, and for all users? Please provide more information.

By the way, you don't see workflows in a 'SAP Mailbox' but in a 'SAP Workflow Inbox' (like SBWP or UWL). If you're new to workflow, you may find these blogs useful:

Is the workflow a Standard Workflow or a Custom ?

Where is the user clicking in the Work item?

Screen shots would help.

This is the custom workflow.

User is executing it by clicking the execute button from his SAP mailbox itself by selecting the workitem.

So when they execute - no screen is even popping up?

Also, please give a screen shot of that work item from the technical workflow log -> select that step and click -> Step History -> what do we see there?

Hello,

Look at the workflow log (SWI1) to see what is happening.

Check ST22 for dumps. It may be a problem with user authorization.
