Error DDIC_TYPE_INCONSISTENCY occured. P1=ABAP-gen

Hello Everyone,

Yesterday I started SP upgrade from ECC6.0 EHP6 SP 05 to SP12.

I ran successfully till DDIC_ACTIVATION state and it started IMPORT_PROPER phase.

But, now i am not able to login into the sap system, it shows the below for all the transaction.

Error DDIC_TYPE_INCONSISTENCY occured. P1=ABAP-gen

I am not able to go any transaction.

This error comes mainly when we have some inactive objects.This can be in custom object or a standard.

Whenever you call a transaction ,it's possible that program is calling the inactive object and goes

for dump.

What do the log files in the /usr/sap/trans/tmp and /usr/sap/trans/log directories say ?

Are they getting updated ?

Check if there is an activation job running in the system.

Also supply the complete ABAP dunp and check if there are other dumps occurring in the system.

Please share OS and DB details as well,and any recent update for dbsl libraries before performing the process.Please confirm.

Additionally raise a SAP support ticket in parallel for same.
