MDG-F 7.0 workflow approval deligation

Hi everyone,

An approver is configured in workflow agent assignment in MDG-F 7.0. So the approver can approve or reject the change request coming into his way. That is perfect. Then what configuration I can do if he want to deligate the change request approval authority to someone else so someone else can approve the change request on behalf of him?

Hello,

This is a standard workflow task and should not be done in MDG. You don't need to do any special configuration as it should work out of the box. See the "substitution" button in the Change Request inbox application.

One more thing however, delegating someone else does NOT automatically give them authorization to perform your tasks. The security team will still have to assign them proper authorization roles. Substitution will only take the work item into their inbox. Whether they can open it or not depends on their authorization.
