Hello To All,
I have a semi finished material. In Material Master (QM view), I have selected 04 inspection type, and maintained the Average Inspection Duration to be 20 days.
Now my question is , how to prevent end user to release Inspection lot by accident /mistake before the specified date?
SAP should not allow to release it before 20 days.
can someone please guide on this.
Thanks.
Hi,
You may want to look at the QEVA0010 which is for UD check. Other way to achieve is via authorization control of QA11.

Hi,
If you are using automatic usage decision, then you can maintain the Number of hours (20X24= 480 hrs) in the Inspection lot completion tab under the below node.
SAP Customizing Implementation Guide --> Quality Management --> Basic Settings --> Maintain Settings at Plant Level.
In QA11, you need to have authorisation control.

Hello
You can use a MIC (calculated based on dates or Y/N and it would be an user responsability), and if this MIC is mandatory you avoid UD until this MIC was valuated.
