MRP Exceptions list with details

Hi gurus,

I would like to know if somebody has a list of most important MRP exceptions with details.

I explain after MRP run, I go in MD06 transaction to display MRP material list. When I display this list I have exceptions and I don't understand all of these exceptions.

Does somebody have a list of principle exceptions with explanations and details or a link to find such a list?

Hi ed ek,

The moderator has considered that the content was not appropriate and it was rejected. I had collected the info from the sap help related to each message in a single document. I decided to share this document when I saw your thread, just because I thought it could be helpful for you and maybe for some others.. it is just a re-collection of SAP... it did not attempt to be considered as original content.

Dear Ed,

i had your same problem, in order to analyze better all MRP exeption message i create a

custom report that read

MDKP

MDTB table

T458A

T458B

In this case you can get all message much more fast thats t-code standard MD06.

In this table you can also understand other very important MRP data that could be used for supplementar informations.

In a newly delivered SAP system, SAP by default will not populate MDTB.  Read OSS note http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/440016 for more info.

For such reports, you are better off using Logical database DBM, which will read the MRP data no matter where it exists (MDTB or MDTC).
