Webgui is not logging using the IP address

Hi gurus!

I configured the webgui, but, when i try to open it with the IP address of the SAP server, the logon screen appears but when i insert the user and the password, and i click to logon, it returns to the same logon screen again.

When i open the WEBGUI with the DNS and try to logon, it works.

I need to open the WEBGUI with the IP address because i need to open it in the iPAD, then, if i open with the DNS link, i need to change the host file, but i cant change the host file of the iPAD.

Do you have any clues how to solve this?

Thanks for your info

1.  Webgui logon issue through IP for every one or some of the few connections?

2. Just add the local host enter with (IP address = (FQDN host name))
