Cannot Generate SRA002_TIMESHEET_SRV time entry

Hi All,

   I am trying to enhance the Time Entry SRA002_TIMESHEET_SRV service. When I click the Generate button I am getting an error as below.

"Property 'Counter' is a key and must set nullable to false".  Can you please suggest how to resolve it.

Hi Gopi,

These are the new checks in the SAEGW transaction.

I assume you are not on SRA002 SP05. Please update the SP to SP05 and you should not see this error.

Hi Gopi,

I asked youto check the SRA002 SP. That should be SP05.

Please check that in the ECC system.

Hi Gopi,

Did you apply the SP05 lately.
Could you clean up the model cache  using /IWBEP/CACHE_CLEANUP and then try.

      yes, SP05 was applied recently.  I tried cleaning up the Cache, but it still doesn't work.

Hi Pankaj,

      After applying the note when I open the timesheet project (Standard) the Counter field nullable is not checked, but when I try to redefine the same service I see Counter field nullable is checked.

Hi Gopi,

Could you please delete the redefined project and exit the transaction.

Enter transaction again and then redefine.

No. We are still having the issue. We ran into other issues when we upgraded the sp to resolve it.

Still, we are unable to generate the project and we are getting error "Property 'Counter' is a key and must set nullable to false".

Hi Srikanth,

You have the latest SPs already and this should work.

could you try clearing the model cache and then delete the enhanced project.

Then re create if after checking the property flag is correct.

Hi

We tried a work around and that works for now. When you redefine the Odata service, first select all entities, then unselect the counter field and continue as normal. Now it will show a new error - related to missing key. Now you can manually create a new property line to the entity 'TimeEntry' and name it as Counter, use the data field COUNTER, check the Key column. Now you will get to activate the whole project.

Note is already released. May be taking some time to update.

Try with SNOTE downloading the latest version and let know if you still have error.
