How to run MRP for same material in diff plant

Dear all,

I have a material Ex: 5678AH-i extended this material in two plants.

For ex:

In plant 1100 buying 5678AH material form vendor.

From 1100 plant material is supplied  to 2000 plant

I need to run MRP in both the plants

How to process?Kindly please clarify.

Dear Raja,

Try with these settings in the materials master.

• At Plant 2000
  • Procurement Type = F
  • Special Procurement Type = (yuo have to create a sepcial procurement type for stock transport orders "U", indicating that the supplying plant is 1100. (*)
  • Lot Size = WB or MB or EX, etc.. (if you use EX, try to use a minimum lot size not too small)
  • Then there are other important fields as (lead time, coverage profile, etc..)..
• At plant 1100
  • Procurement type = E
  • Spec Procrement type = blank
  • Lot Size = WB or MB or EX, etc.. (if you use EX, try to use a minimum lot size not too small)
  • Then there are other important fields as (lead time, coverage profile, etc..)..

Dear Raja,

aAs per my understanding you should take procurement type as external procurement for 1100 then make Stock transport order for 2000 plant.

procurement type for 2000 will be both procurement (X).

1.Run MRP for plant2000 to generate the dependent requirements

2.Run MRP for plant 1100 to generate the planned order for above dependent requirements.

you can either schedule two MRP job in above sequence or configure a MRP scope in IMG to run the MRP .
