Hi,

Find info object names thru table - RSOSFIELDMAP.

Yes, You need to follow the objects sequence while installing other you may face issues.

Below is the sequence.

1. Info area

2. Info catalogs

3. info objects.

4. Targets(cube/dso/MP)

5.Transformations(7.x)/transfer/update rules(3.x)

6, info pack and dtp..

7. Bex repots.

Assuming as your data source in 7.x version.

You need to see the above table in BW, SE11.

try to see the table contents, later you can enter OLTP Source - Data source name, execute it.

it shows ecc fields and bw objects names.

Hi,

After installing or before, its doesn't matter.

at BW server are you able to see the table?

if you see the table then you can see the your data source details also.

if you data source in RSDS version.

First go to table RSDS and see your data source was there or not.

if not then then by using same t code (RSDS) migrate to 7.x.'

Later you can see your data source at table - RSOSFIELDMAP.

Thanks

Here you go >>

SD: Sales Document Item Data (2LIS_11_VAITM) - SAP HANA-Optimized BI Content - SAP Library

The sequnce should be - first you should look to install lower level object (most granular) and then you proceed upwards DSO and cubes.

Rgds..

Hi Kavya,

just go to help.sap.com  put your datasource name it will give you list of infoobjects required for std data target/source.

In BI system also you will find in BI content required list of objects.

for install the sequence  is:

your system should have all required infoobjects in active state

2)data tartget

3)datasource

4)transformations

5)DTP infopackages

Hope it will resolve your issue.
