Fiori - SAP Gateway point the same app to different backend servers

Dear all,

I came across a specific requirement during one implementation. My client wants to use the same SAP Fiori app to do time recording - CATS. However depending on the user they want to connect this app to 2 different servers (for example a user from France goes to SAP ECC back-end 1 and a user from Switzerland goes to SAP back-end 2).

Is that possible to achieve? Or you must use 2 different gateways in this case?

Hi Andre,

You could try this with the user role in the /iwfnd/maint_service in the system alias.

Use the user role to differentiate for the France and Swiss employees and then connect to different ECC backend.
