IDOC: Inbound delivery - MPN material problem.

Hi Experts,

I am using IDOC to create a Inbound delivery. Now problem is that If I pass MPN material value(In KDMAT field). then It changes the material value.

For example:

If Material No. is  100000210 and MPN Material is 600000148 then in  background,  IDOC has changed the values like material no. is 600000148 and MPN material is 600000148.

As per my analysis,  there is no direct segment/field for MPN material in IDOC.

Message Type:  DESADV

Basic type     :  DELVRY07

You may want to check if OSS note 1063487 - IDOC: Long material number / MPN would not be sent via IDOC  is relevant for you

As far as my experience with DELVRY07, you are right we don't have specific segment related to MPN material in the DESADV, if you are giving MPN material in KDMAT and that you want to replace with MATNR during processing then you need to write the custom logic

I have changed the material number in user exit EXIT_SAPLV55K_011. the material has been changed in the internal table DELIVERY_COM but in vl32n, MPN material is display as material.

Could you please let us know what is the data in MATNR and KDMAT in the source segment and what is ur expectation

Material No. is(MATNR)  100000210 and MPN Material is(KDMAT) 600000148

my expectation is lips-matnr = 100000210 and lips-ematn = 600000148.
