Experts,

Why is it that  a formatted search will automatically update when a certain field has changed but will not work when set on a different field yet both fields are on the row level and the query works right ?  Could someone please elaborate ?

Regards,

Hi,

In general, if FMS set on a field that has FMS already, it will not work.

Thanks,

The field does not have FMS.

The scenario is as below : -

I have inserted the below FMS on a UDF on the delivery notes called U_Staff_Name and set it to show the name on staff when the cost centre Staff code is selected. When the staff code is selected nothing happens I have to manually click on the FMS icon.

However when I set it to change on the delivery date field on the rows it refreshes immediately this field changes.

FMS

SELECT T0.[PrcName] FROM OPRC T0 WHERE T0.[DimCode] = 3  and  T0.[PrcCode] = $[$38.2002.1]

This is because your staff code is related to the FMS result. You have to set refresh based on an independent field such as delivery date.
