Disable editing of marketing attributes on Rex APP

Hello,

I have a requirement to disable the editing of the customer marketing attributes on the ReX App ( rex app 3.2.13, SUP 2.3)

I have tried restricting the edit access to the user using CRM backend security, but the check comes into picture only after the sync.

To achieve this, I need to disable / remove the edit button from the marketing attributes ABO in the client XML.

Please suggest how to achieve this.

Hi Geetika,

It is not possible to achieve this by using the clientXML, you would need to do a custom code fix on the client side.

Please provide some more details of the custom development required here. I checked out the BP def and dcn badis, but there's no option to control the edit access there. I havent found out an option on the CRM backend to achieve this.

Hi Geetika,

The fix is on the client side i.e. you need to modify the iOS source code.
