Installation CS 6.5 without Internet Services

Hello,

I've installed CS 6.50, on Windows 2008 R2 64bits and IIS 7.0.

The installation finished succesfully. I can access to database using Database Studio 7.9, and it is up and running.

Telnet to ports 1090 and 1095 is not responding.

If I check IIS it looks that no service has been created:

The installation process has been executed a couple of times and the result is the same.

I've confirmed that "Install Webservice" flags have been selected during Wizard execution.

Thanks,

Hello,

Looks like the feature WAS is not installed, hence web site is not created.

Can you please do the below:

1)Uninstall Content Server.
2)Uninstall the feature WAS (machine needs to be restarted after this) .
3)Uninstall the roles in IIS (machine needs to be restarted) .
4)Delete the following folders
C:\Inetpub (this is default website ).
C:\Windows\System32\inetsrv (IIS Configuration Files are located here).
5)Reinstall IIS 7(WAS will be installed automatically). Refer the note 2028088 for the roles need to be installed.

If WAS is not installed automatically do the below steps:

To install Windows Process Activation Service on a Windows 2008 computer

Log on to the computer as a member of the local Administrators group.
a.In Server Manager, expand Features and then click Add Features.
b.In the Add Features Wizard, on the Select Features page, select
Windows Process Activation Service. Make sure that both Process Model
and .NET Environment are selected, and then click Next.
c.On the Confirm Installation Selections page, click Install.
d.On the Installation Results page, click Close to close the
Add Features Wizard.

6)Reinstall Content Server .
7)Check if the problem persists still .

Best Regards,

Sneha

Hello,

Solved.

I've applied SAP Note 1704365.

The error was missing roles in IIS.
