E-Separation Approver Workflow Issue

Dear Experts,

Good Day !!

I have been facing an issue in E-Separation during Approval of resignation by L1 or L2 Manager in MSS.

For Eg., When a L1 manager approves resignation of an employee, the Approval Status changes to 'AP' and the same can be seen in the table T77WWW_TEAAP. However, when I lookup the Work Item ID in Workflow Tcode 'SWIA' - the status still shows as Started, technically it should be in Completed status. Now, the L2 manager tried to approve from his MSS, system doesnt allow him to save the approve button. System throws a message as "Error Modifying the Request (Reference ID).

Now, when I try to check the status of L2 Manager Work Item in SWIA, the status is Completed. It doesn't identify the Agent. We have maintained a Custom Table to identify the L1 and L2 Managers for ESep Approvals.

Have been using Standard Workflow for Approvals -- WS77900165

Appreciate if someone could throw a light on the above issue.

How you are calling this custom table for finding the reportee.

I am calling this table using a Function Module.

Then check your FM in debug mode and is this able to to Hold  the  workflow as per the approval logic or you can call the same in workflow only. Check with your Abaper for the same.
