Hello All
The requirement is to allow 2 users to approve or reject the CR. All the roles are properly assigned to their id's but when the users open the CR, they can't view the Active or Reject button.
I would like to know what could be the reason for this? Roles are assigned properly. The other users with the same role can activate the CR.
We are using standard workflow. Users are part of the agent. The only thing missing that there is no entry found in org structure for that agent id. But the same is not there for others too.
Need urgent help.
Thanks
Kiran
Hello Kiran,
the buttons that are displayed in the UI are controlled by the Step Type which is assigned to the dialog step in the workflow template and the corresponding customizing settings for the Step Type.
The workflow task has a container element STEP_TYPE that you have to set according to your needs.
Then in the IMG under
General Settings -> Process Modelling -> Workflow -> Define Change Request Actions
you define the buttons with text and quick info.
Finally you define the Step Types:
General Settings -> Process Modelling -> Workflow -> Define Change Request Step Types and Assign Actions
In the view Cluster you assign the buttons defined before as actions to the Step Type.
So if the IMG settings are ok and the workflow reaches the correct dialog step where the correct Step Type is assigned the button should be visible.
Best regards,
Markus
