Server Intelligence Agent service terminated unexpectedly

Hi there,

I'm trying to install Crystal Reports Server 2008 on a Windows 2012 64 bit machine.

The base installation SP3 worked just fine.

But then I tried to install the SP to get to SP6 so I can use it with Tomcat 7. That didn't work.

during the SP4 installation it says Starting SIA Service but it can't finish. In the Event log I see Server Intelligence Agent service terminated unexpectedly every couple of seconds. Same problem when I try to uninstall this thing.

Any ideas why this thing can't start or how to get this SIA Service working?

Create new SIA and check.

How? I only have the Business View Manager? The CMC doesn't show up. Where can I find it?

You need to login to server. You should see CCM in programs.

It turned out, that after installing any of the Service Packs one needs to reboot the server. Without the reboot I wasn't able to start the SIA, not the old one, not the new one. Not it's up and running. Thanks for your prompt reply!
