issue in wcd line item deletion

Hi Experts,

I want to delete one line item from wcd in SAP WCM.

Kindly suggest how is it possible.

Hi Peter,

after setting prepared it is not anymore allowed to delete WCD items.
You are reminded, that the approval process begins in that you set the status PREP (Prepared) in the WCM object.

If you want to get rid of items after setting prepared, then you must deactivate these items. The deactivation of an item is equivalent to the deletion of an item as soon as the WCD is prepared.

but deactivation applied on header level . it does not applied on item level

kindly suggest alternative way
