unit of measurement - technical format

Dear all,

We have created our own unit of measurement via transaction CUNI and assigned a commercial and technical format to this unit.

We now want to use this unit in our BEx query but we want to show the technical format of the unit (as the commercial format is limited to 3 characteristics and this is not enough to have a clear abbreviation of our unit).

How can this be changed in the BEx query?

issue solved with SAP note 596730 (and with some changes in trx CUNI)

I guess you can achieve this by the help of Text Variable. Create a text varibale in BEx to replace 3 char unit to a more elaborative name.
