EPCM.getSAPTop().LSAPI.getSearchProviderPlugin not working

Hello,

Portal version: 7.3

I have a scenario where I have used EPCM.getSAPTop().LSAPI.getSearchProviderPlugin to search on Portal content.

I see that it works on DEV Portal, i.e., if I type something in search input box and it first shows list of results matching my search input field and when clicked on one of the suggestion, it navigates to that page.

But same functionality, when tested on TEST portal, gives "No suggestions".

Any idea what might be missing here?

We have customized portal theme and we are using ajax framework page.

With the link you provided, I could manage to get results. Thanks

Now, I noticed that list of suggestions it shows, doesn't have all results. But when we use SAP AJAX framework page with SAP theme, all results are visible.

I am wondering if search results are dependant on SAP theme/framework page in any way?

Glad I could help:)

It doesn't sound as search results should be dependent on theme....perhaps on fw page, or specifically the masthead, as the input field there (quick launch) is part of the framework page.
