Open hub destination to flat file: parallel processing?

Hi all,

I am using an open hub destination to extract data to a flat file.

In the settings for batch manager, the number of processes equals 3 .

But when carrying out the DTP, only one process is used.

Is it possible to do parallel processing when extracting data to a flat file (on application server)?

System is 7.40 SP6 on HANA.

Hi Former Member,

When we do a Flat file load to BW, parallel processing is not possible.

Your case is loading flat file from an open hub destination.

For this case also, I believe parallel processing is not possible. But Sorry, I dont have any standard SAP document to substantiate my statement.
