Action profile not working

Former Member

Hi all,

I have created one action profile under which just one action to print Smart form and no schedule and start condition.

Processing time : Immediate

No partner dependent

Business object = BUS2000115
context class = CL_DOC_CONTEXT_CRM_ORDER

action definition = sales_order_print
processing type = smart forms print

form name = CRM_ORDER_CONFIRMATION_01
processing class = CL_DOC_PROCESSING_CRM_ORDER
method = CRM_ORDER_EXEC_SMART_FORM
print only

I referred action profile ORDER_MESSAGES for this. But mine profile is not working.

but if I apply the standard ORDER_MESSAGES, it works for my transaction. I am not able to understand this behaviour. everthing is same except there are few more actions in standard profile which I don't require. So I created a new one.

Kindly guide, what is the reason. I am not able to judge.

Thanks,

Pradeep

Thanks, to all for your inputs. I have solved it on my own.

Just for the info: The printer defined in SPAD was out of order, so it was not able to recognise

that printer.

Cheers!

Hi Pradeep,

Could you please elaborate on what you mean by "profile is not working". Do you mean the action is not getting scheduled or is there some other issue.

Yes.. action is not coming in action toolbar and also not getting scheduled.

Everything is same as per ORDER_MESSAGES profile but in my profile i have just order print functionality and it is not working. But if I use the ORDER_MESSAGES, it works.

That is why I am not able to understand why it not working for my action profile. When everything is same.

Pradeep.

Hi Pradeep,

Check if the "Inactive" checkbox has been checked for your action definition. This checkbox causes the definition to be ignored during determination.
