ASE16 32-Bit Client for Windows 7

HI Guys

I'm trying to find a download for a 32-bit client for ASE16 or ASE15 tht I can install on a Windows 7 32-bit PC.

I have a ASE16 running successfully on a windows 2008 server but need to be able to connect from my client in order to develop. the ASE16 download is 64-Bit only.

I have looked around on the SAP downloads etc but have failed miserably. Any help or pointers would be welcome.

Hi David,

The 32 bit install for the client should be on the download site. Do a search for the number 23405.

This should be SDK 16.0 for SAP ASE PL04 EBF 23405.

I get no results from the search regardless of what I put in. The only download available to me is the full ASE-win64.

Hi David,

Go to Service Marketplace > The all New SAP Support Portal

https://websmp206.sap-ag.de/~SAPIDP/002006825000000234912001E

Select Software Downloads > Search for Software (left side)

Select the "Click Here" blue button

Search 23389 and you should see the SDK.

Hi David,

There is a trial version of the SDK I think they got SDK 15.7 SP127 up on the site currently. This will work to ASE 16.x.

Go here: http://scn.sap.com/community/downloads

There is an article titled "The SCN Download Center is Now on the SAP Store: What's New?"

In this article there is a link to the SAP store click it

Than do a search for "SAP SDK for Adaptive Server Enterprise"

Click the free trial and it will ask for your information and send you an email.

From the link you get you should see a list of the SDKs. You want the one for Windows Server on IA32 32 bit 22941.
