Fix Assets module 9.0 migration & depreciation

Dear all,

we are testing the fix assets data migration from 8.82 to 9.0.

We used the migration wizard

Actually we dont find any historical data for all our assets before current fiscal year.

Each asset has its correct values in Item Masterdata (Acquisition Value, Rest value, etc for this fiscal year) but no way to find/see the monthly depreciation values this year as for the previous years)

Is it normal or we missed a step during the migration?

Hi,

The screenshot 1.JPG shows Depreciation Area being check different in both the Asset Master Data.

Can we suggest to check by having Depreciation Area with same code?

Dear Jitin

it looks like the depreciation area were not integrated in a correct way with the SAP utility: if the codes are the same (100), description and setups are different.

If I modify setup in 9.0 (to have same as 8.82), it doesnt change anything in the masterdata and depreciation for previous years...

I attached you a docx file with example of one our the fix assets acquired in 2013. you will see in the FA addon in 8.82, we have some balances that we are not able to see in the FA module in 9.0

Hi,

Can you please confirm which depreciation area are you checking in the 9.0 Version. The font is too small and I cannot read and compare with the screenshot of 8.82.

sorry for the inconvenience, I hope these are better

we are checking all fields in area depreciation, rest value, etc etc
