Hi Manali,

Expatriate is also called as GME (global management employee) to activate the functionality check this path: spro --> personnel management --> Management of Global Employees

This functionality is for multiple contracts for the Employee in the same country or cross-country for the same periods or one after other.

This functionality has to called as Home country and Host country.

For activation, switch CCURE GLEMP and after configuration is done for GME, special Personnel Actions already exist in the system that allow you to run 2 actions in the same time. In the same screen you can run:

a. First case: Inactivate Home contract and Hiring for Host contract

b. Second case: Finish Host contract and Reactivate the initial Home contract

For multiple contracts of the Employee is called as Concurrent Employee, GME is also consider as special type of Concurrent Employee.

After activating CE, in the T-code PA40 for hiring of employee pop will come for Employee Recognition and it will check for Contract for the Employee's.

Main IT's has to be maintained from 0702 to 0722 (Imp IT's 0706 to 0722)

For payroll, ex. if employee home country is US and host country is India, then employee treat as Indian country employee and run the payroll in India. if the business want to run the payroll in Home country only even his contract period is in Host country then payroll and taxes are considered from Home country only and payment also in Home country currency.

Hope you understand regarding Expatriate Employee
