Hello!

We have SBOP 4.1 SP4 02 (Linux) on one machine.

When click in CMC Version Management we get error (screen 1):

Sorry, Promotion management application is unable to process your request.

The error from the server is: com.businessobjects.vms.VMSException: com.businessobjects.vms.VMSException: java.lang.StringIndexOutOfBoundsException: String index out of range: -1

If go to Promotion Manager - it looks well (screen 2)

Could you help me? Where problem can be.

Hi Evgeny,

Have you checked CMC -> Applications -> Version Management -> VMS Settings? You must be able to test the access to VM repository using "Test VMS" button on this page.

You are right. VMS wasn't configured correctly!

I changed VMS Settings, test didn't complete correct, but after service restart VM opens ok.
