Hi Experts,
I have received a request to setup a Business Objects Mobile connection on SMP 3.0 (SP04 PL01).
Documentation:http://help.sap.com/businessobject/product_guides/sbo41/en/608_mobiOS_admin_en.pdf
In the above documentation chapter 5.7 describes how BO Mobile Server and SMP is configured against each other.
But clearly the documentation has not been revised properly. All screendumps and terminologi are from SUP 2.1, but "SUP" is not mentioned anywhere. It has all been replaced by the term "SMP".
Has anyone succesfully configured BO Mobile server against SMP 3.0 ?
Thanks.

Hi Søren,
Sorry nobody answered to you until now, yes I did successfuly configure the SAP BI Mobile App with SMP 3.0 in the past.
I was checking the documentation for SMP 3.0 Installation Instructions, we did provide in the past step by step instructions for SUP 2.3 indeed.
Nowadays (App 6.2.10) we don't provide any instructions for SUP / SMP at all, we refer to Sybase's documenatation.
I have to say the SMP 3.0 configuration is much more straight forward and barely needs any documentation as it is much simpler.
Our App develpers have nevertheless created in their blogs:
- and http://scn.sap.com/community/developer-center/mobility-platform/blog
some generic instructions...
By the way, I am creating the following SAP KBA that will be available very soon:
SAP KBA 2225487 - SAP Mobile Platform 3.x and SAP BI Mobile App 6.x
