web.xml file won't display properly

Hi everyone

I need to set up authentication for my JAX-RS application on NWDS 7.3, and I'm following this guide: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_sem60/helpdata/de/3e/ee7aa1ab8b4442bab00ba3171cef72/content.htm

I can't see the General tab when I open the web.xml file. I have two tabs on the bottom that switch the file rendering from Designer to Source, but none of them resemble the way this should be displayed (as I've seen here http://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/download/attachments/168460581/nw70_step_06_web_xml.PNG?version=1&modif...)

Should I open the xml in some particular way?

Hi Claudio,

What you're referring to is the custom editor in NWDS 7.0. NWDS 7.1 and later has adopted the standard Eclipse WTP wizards, views and editors. You can use the Source tab and edit the web.xml accordingly.
