How to append text in Notes assignment block in service request

Hi ,

My requirement is I will get some text corresponding to service request nos from java/oracle system. I am reading those tables using native SQL . (exec sql..and endsql).  Now I need to update these text/ in notes assignment block corresponding SRNs. Please suggest me the Function modules or code.

Hello experts - in the service request we have notes assignment block where this notes is getting updated from ECC but here the old notes is getting replaced by the new notes which is coming to CRM from ECC, this is problem, as we need the notes to get amalgamated and should see all the old and new notes together when we put the type as LOG.

Is there any configuration missing kindly advise.

see note 910735 and 2171474 as well. You can only have one LOG where the logable texts are visible after saving.

Hi Vani,

Is the issue still going? Have you checked the customizing in text profile?

If you want to have all your text, you need to add customizing 'P' in text profile determination. Then, all text will be saved (but won't be editable afterwards). If you do not make any customizing, each new text will replace the old one.

Is that your requirement?
