Hierarchies Migration Issue - SAP BW 7.3

Hi All,

we have migrated standard Hierarchies data sources using RSDS (righ click on DS and MIgrate, Using migration project etc). however we are unable to activate the data source after migration.

i have gone thorugh all the forums and we aplied all the notes related to this still we are encoutering same issues.

even

1. Delete data source again replicated in 3.x and them mograted - No luck

2. Deleted existing transfer rules and created new one and migrated - No luck

3. Tried with RSDS_ACTIVATE_ALL program - No luck

tried all the possibilities still no luck..please help.

Hi

obviously did you migrate the datasource in ECC and after did you replicate it in BW ?

if the datasource is still in 3x version in ECC it could not be activated in BW

Try to implement the below SAP NOTE and check

484370 - Syntax error during activation of BW730 HIER data sources

we already applied the mentined note, still we are encoutering same issue.
