Dear Experts,
I have initialized infopackage (init without data transfer) for 0FI_GL_10 datasouce and delta is enabled in ECC RSA7. Now if i trigger delta IP then it is failing with source system error. If i trigger delta IP once again it is prompting for repeat delta because of previous delta failure, and if i say Request Again it is getting successful with 0 from 0 records.
After successful completion of previous delta, if i run delta ip once again it is failing with same source system error, and it's next delta getting success with 0 from 0 records.
Actions Taken:
1) Replicated & Activated Datasouce in BW.
2) Deleted previous init and re-initialized init
Error message from the source system
Diagnosis
An error occurred in the source system.
System Response
Caller 09 contains an error message.
Further analysis:
The error occurred in Extractor .

Note
If the source system is a Client Workstation, then it is possible that the file that you wanted to load was being edited at the time of the data request. Make sure that the file is in the specified directory, that it is not being processed at the moment, and restart the request.

Hi Praveen,
We've been facing this issue & did the re-init of delta queue with below SE38 report & it worked.
Run SE38 report - RSSM_OLTP_INIT_DELTA_UPDATE ->
LOGSYS - R3QCLNT200
DATASOUR - Our datasource
ALWAYS - X

Hi Praveen,
I would suggest you to delete the delta request and init request from the manage. And do Re-Init . Might be initialization got corrupt.
Thanks,
Priyanka

Hello Praveen,
Since the job is failing in source system , check the sm37 log in ECC for this particular request. This may give you and us more information about the error.

Amit

Hi,
Is this is happeing one data source or for all data sources?
if its happeing at other data source also then
Seek basis team help and ask them check about logical mappings.
ECC and bw conncetions might be connecting and loosing in seconds.
Ask them to do the resettigns again and later you can do thei nit and test it.
Delete the existing init now.
Again re transport your data source from ECC dev to ECC prod.
replicate ECC prod data source into bw prod,
transport active data source from bw dev to bw prod.
transport info packs and check it.
Thanks
