deleting Outbound Queue in SMQ1

I've some weird issues where I can;t delete the queue in ECC DEV.

                                                        Above was smq1 from ECC DEV300

I need to delete the Queue name MCEX02  / DEstination = None.

** Please note the ECC DEV not connected to any of BI instances.

I need to enhance the datasource but cannot do as per above issues.

When I login into client 888 ,

I can;t find the queue name MCEX02.

Above pic showed ECCPRD 888.

any idea. ?

Hi,

Assuming as above screen may from SMQ1 ECC Dev.

while enhancing are you getting any problem, if yes then please let us know.

at Dev system some MM consultant may entered MM/purchasing related data to MCEX02 may hold entries at SMQ1.

at ECC prod - not exist mcex02 - Why?

Prod is live system, its not allowed to practice as they did at dev.

Hi Sifu Raman,

I hit this error message while trying to add new field in the datasource 2LIS_02_SCL "Entries for Application 02 Still Exist in the Extraction Queue"

That why I don;t have any clue it not exist in ECC PRD, even from ECC DEV it;s showed the queue from client 888.

Seek MM consultant help and dig about that issue.

At at RSA7 have any data source which are 02 application related - 2lis_02*. if there please make their entries as 0 and unschedule V3 job.

at rsa7 , empty .. no datasource listed at all.

just need to add field account assignment , have due date in 3 days.

Any idea, we could force to delete the queue ?

Does the program RSTRFCQD  help?

Hi,

Can you delete your setup tables and try to enhance your data source.

If still give same issue then take MM consultant help and find who is entering MM/purchasing(02)application entries at Client 888.

if your sure  no entries against 02 application at client 888 then take functional help and delete them.

Above mentioned program also helpful to delete unwanted queue at SMQ1.

Hi Raman,

Yes , I already did , delete the setup table, and try to enhance, still same error.

I wondering in client ECC PRD 888, I can;t find the queue, coz the transacion made from client 888, but I can;t find the queue from ECC PRD 888.

Does it mean the ECC DEV have another client 888?

Why your comparing ecc dev and prod.

Prod system will always holds the application which are using.

at Dev as per testing needs some consultants may create entries which are needed.

in such way mm data was maintained, so Queue was filled at SMQ1.

There is no MM consultant at your work?

if he is there check with him or other wise ou can delete them forcefully.

Hi

Normally Development systems only will have multiple clients. Production system will have some shadow clients which will be user during the upgrades.

In BI system, you would find the source system along with the client right? please check that.

Development should have 888 client. please run V3 jobs in that. It should work

Currently no MM available as now here is 11:00PM.

Here the system landscape,

ECC DEV not connect to any of SAP BI

SAP BI DEV --> ECC QAS

SAP BI PRD -->> ECC PRD

I want to enhance the datasource from ECC DEV, so could transport to QAS & PRD.

I hit this error message when trying to run v3 from the job.

You are not allowed to change the update mode for application 02 from delta queued to another method, since there are V3 updates in one of the queues MCEX02* that have not been processed

Hi

Try deleting the entries from SM13 in development system and then change the update mode.

Earlier you said, V3 jobs ran successfully and even after that the queues are not deleted. Was it in different client?

Never used sm13, is that safe I delete all in the entries sm13?

Sorry my mistake, it was queue delta not v3,

I'm still in same clients 300 , is that any way we can know that was another clients exist ?

SM13 is basically used to see the status of any failed updates. You can find many threads related to the entries in SM13. Since you are in development system, I don't think there will be an issue when deleting the entries or correcting the errors in it.

First check if you have any entries. Later we can decide on what to do.

Since your ECC DEV is connected to BI QAS system, go to BI QAS system and check the source systems connected to it. It should have the client ID as well. Check whether 300 or 888 is connected to BI system.

I am not sure if there is any other way to check this. Any one who is working in the project should be aware of the number of clients in the system

Try using the same id that you use for 300 client DEV ECC and login to 888 client and check.

before I transport to QAS, what  i need to make sure, the table need to be deleted first at QAS?

so the new structure will be transported correctly?

I don't think so, transport the request and check.

If it gives error, then do the same activity in QAS and re-transport the same request.

What do mean in saying you are unable to delete the outbound queues?

Did you try running the V3 jobs for the component 02 and even after that the queues are not cleared?

Please elaborate a little.

Thanks for your respond,

Yes I did run the jobs from Job control, then I can;t clear the queue even hit the 'trash' icon.

When i hit the trash icon, the 'transaction cannot be run from 300", so I login into client 888 (as the queue showed from client 888)

When I go to client 888 (smq1) I can't find the queue.

Hope it's clear, do let me know if you need further information.

Try running the V3 job from ECC DEV 888 client, though it doesn't have the entry in SMQ1, it might work. Also please check the job log as well. whether it has transferred some LUWs or the job got cancelled.

We also have two clients in ECC for BI. We will do all the developments, enhancements in client 100, but BI is connected to client 110. So it gives issues with these queues often.

In production V3 job might have run today and so there is no entry for that.
