Maintain English and Arabic texts in Ess Overview or in Lpd_Cust for Custom Applications.

we have implemented ESS/MSS Ehp7 Webdynpro Abap. we have created custom Role in Lpd_cust and created Custom folders and Applications.

As per clients requirement we have to maintain texts in Arabic also so that when users logs in Arabic texts should be displayed in Arabic.

we have tried it by Launchpad->textkeys/Translation or se63. When we pass our key(ZXX_ESSLRD10000001000338) and click on Translate we are getting Error Object not found.

When we run Report APB_LPD_CORRECT_TEXTTABLES we get Message text as Version in DOKIL has to be corrected.

We are on SAP_BASIS 740 SP-0004 and SAP_UI 740 SP-0009 and we have implemented SAP Notes 2030367 & 2071382 .

Please perform the correction proposed by report APB_LPD_CORRECT_TEXTTABLES first.

After this, please create transport requests for the launchpad. Creating the transport is enought, you do not need to release the transport requests. This should solve the 'no object found'.

Run report APB_LPD_SHOW_TEXT_KEYS for ESS/MENU and get the text keys Program      APB_LAUNCHPAD_SELECTION report for lpd_cust The short texts are stored in table APB_LPD_SH_TEXTS. Their text keys start with LEHI000000D.....>>>> Header Texts for LPD_CUST Those long texts are stored in table DOKTL.
